Nancy Jean Perry Hale

Cremation arrangements for Nancy Hale, 71, of Kilgore are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Nancy completed her earthly journey on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at her home in her husband's arms. Her family will host a private memorial at a later date.
Nancy was born on June 27, 1950, in Balboa, Panama Canal Zone, to Nelda Jean Price and William Barr Perry. She married the love of her life Louis “Buddy” Hale, Jr. on August 24, 1979. They shared two children together and forty-three wonderful years of marriage. Nancy was a loving wife and mother. She was a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed all kinds of crafting, especially making jewelry which she sold at local craft shows. She had a heart of compassion and spent many of her later years working at Meals on Wheels as a senior meal site supervisor. Nancy especially enjoyed traveling with her husband. Visiting Germany and Iceland were two of their favorite trips. Nancy was a kind, caring, and loving person who will be missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Louis “Buddy” Hale, Jr. of Kilgore, son, Louis Hale III of Spring Hill, grandchildren, Kendall Hale, Paige Hale, and Carson Hale of Spring Hill, brothers, Bill Perry of Asheville, North Carolina, and Frank Perry of the DFW area, numerous nieces, nephews and other loving friends and family members.
Nancy was reunited with her daughter Sarah Margaret Hale, and her parents.
The family asks that those who wish to send flowers instead contribute to Dallas Children's Medical Center, Texas Shakespeare Festival, and the East Texas Food Bank
