Norma Jean Baker

Norma Jean Baker, 88, of Kilgore completed her earthly journey October 11, 2023, in Kilgore, Texas. She was born on September 26, 1935, in Hudson, Michigan to the late Lee Harden and Ethel Smith Harden.

Norma Jean married her high school sweetheart, Richard D. Baker. Together the two built a beautiful family of five, the proud parents welcomed two daughters; Linda and Pamela, and one son; Norman. Norma Jean was a devoted mother, raising her family was her lifetime calling and she found great reward in her years spent as a homemaker, mother and wife. In their later years, the loving couple found great joy in their travels, taking their camper all over the U.S. and experiencing over five years of adventures. Richard and Norma Jean were happily married over 70 years before his passing. Norma Jean spent her lifetime loving her family and will be dearly missed by all.

In passing, Norma Jean was reunited with her beloved husband, Richard, her parents, and each of her four siblings: brothers Junior Harden, Lloyd Harden and sisters Virginia Lether and Marie Spade. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Pamela Nolte of North Richland Hills, Tx, Linda Baker of Nashville, Indiana and Norman Baker of Eolia, Missouri; five grandchildren, six Great- Grandchildren and two Great-Great Grandchild along with many other loving family members and friends.
