PEGGY JOYCE RHODEN MCBRIDE
Services at the graveside will be held at 4 pm on Monday, December 30, 2019, in the Danville Cemetery. Mrs. McBride completed her earthly journey, went home to be with her Lord and join her husband of 39 years on Friday, December 27, 2019, in Kilgore.
Peggy was born on April 3, 1946, in Gilmer to William and Mary Rhoden. She retired from Mansfield Plumbing after being there for 15 years. Peggy enjoyed going to the boats/casinos in Louisiana, shopping at “Wal-Mark” as she called it, watching Court TV and listening to country music. Her family, especially her grandbabies, were the source of her strength and spending time with them was when she was happiest. She was loving known by various names like Mom, Grandma, Nana and Granny Mac, she loved being called any of these by any and all of those people whom she loved. Peggy will be greatly missed by all whose lives she has touched.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tammy Abbott of Whitehouse, Cindy Parks and husband Bobby of Brownsboro, Troy McBride and wife Tanya of Brownsboro, Karen Roberts and husband Eric of Gilmer, Misty Fragozo and husband Miguel of Kilgore; brother, David Patton and wife Lorraine of Magnolia; twenty-one grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and her furbaby Chewy. Also, left to carry on her legacy are numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other loving family members.
Preceding her in death are her parents; siblings, Coleman Rhoden, Doyle Patton, Leon Patton, Mary Jackson; son-in-law, Wayne Abbott and her loving husband of 39 years, Dale McBride.
