Funeral services for Mrs. Rachel Marcott, 75, of Garland will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at the Bar None Cowboy Church in Tatum with Pastor Jason Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Danville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 13, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Mrs. Marcott passed away on Wednesday in a Dallas hospital.
Rachel was born on August 17, 1946, in Liberty, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Robert Vernon Foster and Cora Mae Lawson Foster. Mrs. Marcott was a member of the Bar None Cowboy Church. She enjoyed gardening, reading, camping, and fishing. Rachel loved being with her family and attending her grandchildren’s activities. Rachel was a member of the Longview Chapter of National AMBUCS.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Douglas Marcott of Garland; son, Wayne Marcott and wife Sammie of Kilgore; daughter, Gina Marcott Roberts of Kilgore; daughter-in-law, Melissa Marcott of Tatum; son, Brian Marcott and wife Kelle of Henderson; grandchildren, Christie Roberts Schultz, Dylan Nixon, Jaden Marcott, Hunter Marcott, Preslee Marcott, Hannah Marcott, Hudson Marcott, Tracie Warburton and husband Robert, Melissa Collins, and Aaron Collins and wife Kimberly; great grandchildren; Grayson Schultz, Layne Warburton, Dorrie Warburton, and Lauren Collins; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, friends, and other loving family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Juan Marcott; father of her children, Raymond Marcott.
