Santos Cedillo was born on July 24, 1924, in Buena Vista, San Luis Potosi. She departed this world on January 28, 2025, in Kilgore, Texas, surrounded by her loving family, leaving behind a legacy defined by her kindness and dedication.

Throughout her life, Santos exemplified hard work and devotion, particularly in her career as a harvester in gardens. Her hands nurtured the earth, and she took pride in her ability to cultivate life. Santos had a special fondness for gardening and farming, with a particular affection for animals. She was not only hardworking but also generous, often bringing plants from her garden to share with family and friends. These memories of shared joy and beauty will continue to resonate within the hearts of those who knew her.

Santos was a woman of remarkable spirit, characterized by her kindness and generosity. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did, and her giving nature created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for those around her. Active and engaged, she maintained strong connections with her loved ones, ensuring that her presence was felt in their daily lives.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Maria Louisa Cedillo Rodriguez; her grandsons, Ruben Rodriguez and Moises Rodriguez; her granddaughters, Reina Rodriguez, Raquel Rodriguez, and Juanita Rodriguez; and many adored great-grandchildren. Santos's familial bonds were strong, and her legacy will undoubtedly continue through the love they share.

Santos was preceded in death by her parents, Estanelada and Martin Cedillo, her husband, and her son-in-law, Eustollo Rodriguez, who joined her in spirit. Their memories will be honored as the family reflects on the love that Santos instilled in them.

Visitation services will be held on January 30, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Rosary from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rader Funeral Home, located at 401 North Martin Street, Kilgore, Texas, 75662. A Mass in her honor will take place on January 31, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Christ The King Catholic Church, 1407 Broadway Boulevard, Kilgore, Texas, 75662.
