Sarah Diane Barrett

Sarah Diane Barrett passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 64 in Laneville, TX. Born on April 20, 1960, Sarah lived a life marked by her love for animals and plants, a passion that shaped much of her personal pursuits.

Sarah was a 1978 graduate of Overton High School and she earned her bachelor degree in computer science from the University of Texas at Dallas. 

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, Conrad and Sue Barrett, as well as her siblings, Gary and Sonya Barrett. Sarah is survived by her brother David and wife Geri Barrett of Kilgore, nieces and nephews: Chase Headley of Dallas, Josh and Chelsea Lasick of Kilgore, Cassie Headley of Kilgore, Nick and Carson Walker of Austin, Spencer and Luisa Barrett of Miami FL., and great nephew Taylor Conrad Walker of Austin. 

All who knew and loved her will cherish her sense of humor, her affection for the less fortunate in the world and her absolute devotion to her beloved animals.

A memorial service will be held at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 11:00 am, preceded by a visitation at 10:00 am.
