Shannon Michelle Poole Ryle

Cremation arrangements for Shannon Poole Ryle, 61 of Kilgore, are under the direction of Rader funeral Home in Kilgore. A Celebration of Life will be hosted by Shannon’s family at a later date. Mrs. Shannon Poole Ryle completed her earthly journey on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, in Longview, Texas surrounded by her loving family.

Shannon was born on November 9, 1961, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Jerry Lee Pool and Joy Weldon Poole. She was a dedicated worker and spent her career in the construction industry. Shannon worked for Lone Star Steel for numerous years before her retirement. She married Tom Ryle on October 13, 2022. In the time Shannon and Tom spent together they shared countless joyful memories. Shannon adored music; her favorite genre was classic rock. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. Shannon will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Tom Ryle; daughters Elizabeth Erin Poole, Emily Marcel Verrati, and Hope Rachel Poole; brother Dr. Matthew Poole and partner Dan Passanati; sister Kris Norried; stepdaughter Kimberly Irene Ryle; along with numerous other loving friends and family members.

Shannon was reunited with her daughter Sarah Hilpirt and her grandparents.
