Stanley Miles Tucker

Stanley Miles Tucker, age 65, of Gilmer, Texas, passed away on December 23, 2024, in Longview. Born on November 18, 1959, in Kilgore to the late Preston Ray Tucker and Helen Lorene Wix Tucker.

Stanley dedicated many years of his life to working in the East Texas Oilfield before retiring due to health concerns. Stanley was a graduate of Kilgore High School Class of 1978. Known for his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a hand, he embodied a spirit of generosity and dedication.In his leisure time, Stanley found joy in fishing and being outdoors, but his greatest delight came from spending quality moments with his friends and family. 

He is survived by his loving siblings Wastella Lee Pope and husband Louie, Preston Jay Tucker, George Ray Tucker, and Nora Lee Backus and husband Rick, along with his cherished dog, Rambo, and a circle of friends and family who will remember him fondly.

Stanley is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, David Lawrence Tucker. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Kilgore.
