Stephen Wayne "Tiny" Beasley

Funeral service for Mr. Stephen Wayne “Tiny” Beasley, 58, of Kilgore will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2020 at Life Church of Longview with Pastor Andy Allison, Pastor Jim Beasley, and Pastor Shane Warren officiating. Burial will follow at the Danville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore on Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mr. Beasley passed away in Longview on Wednesday, August 26, 2020.

Stephen was born on May 27, 1962 in Frankfort, Kentucky and grew up in Georgetown, KY. He attended the Scott County school system from elementary through high school. As a young boy, he fell in love with sports, and became very active in the youth leagues. He continued in sports throughout high school and even in the United States Marine Corps. Stephen entered the Marine Corps in 1979, during which time he served as a military police officer. Stephen was a member of Life Church of Longview where he served as a Lay minister. He loved his Lord and enjoyed his church family. Tiny as he was affectionately called by his family and many friends started working in the car business in 1983, starting in sales and held many other positions during his career. He was employed at Sparks Nissan Kia in Monroe, LA for 17 years before moving to Kilgore to be General Manager at Paterson Group in Kilgore in 2017. Stephen was basically the face of the Patterson dealership here in Kilgore and was an active sponsor for the dealership. He was a member of the Kilgore College Foundation Board and was awarded the Blue-Ribbon Medal of Excellence for Student Success in 2019.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Tammy Beasley of Kilgore; children, Tiffany Simmons and fiancé Maro Booth of Wadestville, Indiana, Stephanie Taylor of Monroe, Louisiana, Brittini Lloyd and husband Brandon of Austin, Arkansas, Brice Lowery of Mount Vernon, Illinois, and Titus Beasley of Kilgore; siblings, Paul Beasley, Jr. and wife Karen of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jim Beasley and wife Michell of Fredrick, Oklahoma, Karen Hanna of Georgetown, Kentucky, and Rebecca Jardindz and husband Delfino of Lexington, Kentucky; grandchildren, Jeremiah Simmons, McKell Simmons, Meleigha Simmons, Camdon Taylor, Luke Taylor, Natalie Taylor, Braiden Lloyd, Briston Lloyd, Bretley Lloyd, and one on the way Charlee Booth; special nephew, Derick Beasley; special friends, Dustin and Wanda Cook; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and friends.
