Tennie Beatrice Fails

Mrs. Tennie Beatrice Fails, 92 of Kilgore passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024, in Kilgore. Tennie was born on January 4, 1932, in Moffet, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Wade and Mary Ethel Bruton.

Tennie was a longtime member of the Post Oak Church of Christ. She raised four wonderful children. Was a homemaker who loved to sew and can food. She was well known for her awesome potholders and denim blankets made from recycled jeans and fabrics. She enjoyed her many trips with her husband Kenneth in his 18-Wheeler. Tennie loved her family and church family and will be missed by so many.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, David L. Fails and  wife Shawn of Tatum and Carl W. Fails and wife Delight of Lake Jackson; sister, Nora Thompson of Mountain Home, TX.; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; several loving nieces and nephews.

Tennie was reunited with her parents and her husband, Kenneth; son, Billy Fails and daughter, Charlotte A. Fails-Bryon; two sisters, and six brothers.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 5-7 in the evening. Private family graveside will be held later.
