Tommy "Tom" Burns

Due to the power outage in Kilgore, the Burns family visitation will be canceled at Rader Funeral  Home in Kilgore. 

Services for Tommy “Tom” Burns, 87, will be on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Kilgore with Tommy Burns, II and Zach Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Kilgore Cemetery. Mr. Burns passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 in Longview.

Tommy was born on February 14, 1936 in Bristow, Oklahoma to Richard A. Burns and Flora Mae Turner. He graduated from Gladewater High School and attended Kilgore College. Tommy served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Highland Park Assembly of God. Mr. Burns worked as a Journeyman Pipefitter for numerous companies and was a member of the United Association of Pipefitters and Plumbers. He was a loving and caring father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be missed by all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Flora Burns.

He is survived by his daughters, Lori Burris of Kilgore and Pam Allen and husband Zach of Jefferson, Texas, sons, Tommy Burns, II and wife Natasha of Montgomery, Texas and Richard Burns of Kilgore; grandchildren, Jessica, Jade, Garrett, Sasha, Baylee, Nikki and Callie; great grandchildren, Ana Lisa, Rory, Rian, Rylie, Mason and Micah, as well as other loving family members.
