Services for Wendy Lynn Musslewhite McDonald, 68 of Kilgore will be held at Laird Hill Baptist Church on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at eleven o'clock in the morning. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Mrs. McDonald passed away peacefully on March 16, 2023, in Tyler, Texas surrounded by family.

Wendy was born on June 1, 1954, in California, to Jack Musslewhite and Gertrude Lee. Wendy received her associate degree in Tyler, Texas. She worked as a manager for Denny’s serving others. She was a hard worker and never met a stranger. Wendy taught

Sunday School at Laird Hill Baptist for 9 years to children. Mrs. McDonald graduated high school in 1971 in Kilgore, Texas. She enjoyed taking vacations especially going to Galveston and watching the ocean. She was married to the love of her life David on May 6, 1973. They shared almost 50 joyful years of marriage and two sons together. Wendy adored her husband. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband David of Kilgore, sons Michael McDonald and wife Jennifer of Kilgore, their oldest son Dakota, daughter Cassidy, youngest son Jaden; son Jeff McDonald and wife Heather of Kilgore, sons, Jordan, Tristan, Ashton, and daughter Hannah, 6 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters, Dean Graves, Cossetta Jones, Sue Dickerson and Jeannie Simpson.

Wendy was reunited with her parents, Jack and Gertrude Musslewhite.
