WILLIAM BENJAMIN GOYNE

Services at the graveside for William Goyne, 49, of Houston, will be held on Monday, July 1, 2019 in the Kilgore City Cemetery at 1 pm. Rev. Will Wilson will be officiating. Mr. Goyne completed his earthly journey and arduous battle with ALS in Houston on Thursday, June 27, 2019.

William was born on November 8, 1969, in Houston to Roger and Beverly Goyne. He attended and graduated from Taylor High School in Katy and then from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches. William loved the Lord with all of his heart and was a faithful member of First Methodist Church in Houston. He worked in the hospitality industry for various hotels and restaurants. Always enjoying life, he enjoyed cooking, hunting and fishing. William will be missed for his great sense of humor and zeal for life. His family and friends were the source of his strength and he was happiest spending time with them.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Beverly Goyne of Houston; brothers, James Harrison of Warren, Robert Harrison and his wife Charity of Cypress as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other loving family members.

He was preceded in death by his father.

The family will receive friends at the funeral from 11 a m until 12:30 p m prior to the service.
