Zeferino Martinez Galvan

Mass of Christian Burial for Zeferino Martinez Galvan, 38 of Kilgore will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Danville Cemetery. Fr. John Henao will be the Celebrant. On Sunday, March 24, 2024, a rosary will be celebrated at 6:00 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Kilgore. Visitation to follow the rosary.

Zeferino was born in Ciudad Acuña Coahuila, Mexico on August 26, 1985, the son of Jose Galvan and Maria De Jesus Martinez. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Kilgore and attended Kilgore Public schools. He loved making memories with his children and family. Zeferino loved music and dancing and enjoyed washing trucks with his son. He had just accomplished one of his biggest dreams to become a truck owner and start his own business. His family was the source of her strength and spending time with them was when he was happiest.

May his memory be honored by his children, Natalie, Daniela, Zeferino, Jr., (Mary Galvan), Alexa Galvan and Fernanda (Vanessa Rojo); mother, Maria Galvan, sisters, Martha Cedillo and husband Raul Cedillo and their kids Raul Jr., Emily and April Cedillo all of Kilgore and son-in-law, Martin DeLuna and their kids Monica, Bertha, Carlos, Martin Jr. Carlos and Benjamin of Kilgore; Amalia Zuniga and husband Roel Zuniga and daughter, Jourdin, Fidel Galvan and wife Celenie Galvan and their kids Alexis, Daniel, Andrea, Diego of Kilgore, Silvia Valenzuela and husband Ruben Valenzuela and their kids, Yamila, Samira, Kamila and Nery of Kilgore, Miguel Galvan and kids, Koletta, Renatta, Yaretzy, Tadeo and Azael of Kilgore, Mayra Torres and husband Salvador Torres and kids Jose Manuel, Arleth, Salvador, Jr. and Goddaughter Abbigayl Torres of Kilgore, Ema Aguilar and husband Eric Aguilar and kids Roxanna Martines, Haziel and Daylani Aguilar of Kilgore, Raquel Perez and husband Angel Perez and daughter Analy Perez of Kilgore as well as nieces, nephews and 5 great nephews and other loving relatives.

Zeferino was preceded in death by his father, Jose Galvan and beloved sister, Lupita Galvan and Lorena DeLuna.

La Misa de Entierro Cristiano para Zeferino Martínez Galván, de 38 años, de Kilgore, se celebrará a las 10 a.m. el lunes 25 de marzo de 2024 en la Iglesia Católica Cristo Rey. El entierro se realizará en el cementerio de Danville. El P. John Henao será el celebrante. El domingo 24 de marzo de 2024, se celebrará un rosario a las 6:00 p.m. en la capilla de la funeraria Rader en Kilgore. Visitación para seguir el rosario.

Zeferino nació en Ciudad Acuña Coahuila, México el 26 de agosto de 1985, hijo de José Galván y María De Jesús Martínez. Fue miembro de la Iglesia Católica de Cristo Rey en Kilgore y asistió a las escuelas públicas de Kilgore. Le encantaba crear recuerdos con sus hijos y su familia. A Zeferino le encantaba la música y el baile y disfrutaba lavando camiones con su hijo. Acababa de cumplir uno de sus mayores sueños: convertirse en propietario de un camión y comenzar su propio negocio. Su familia era la fuente de su fortaleza y pasar tiempo con ellos era cuando él era más feliz.

A Zeferino le precedieron en la muerte su padre, José Galván y su querida hermana, Lupita Galván y Lorena DeLuna.
